Yes, you may offer it directly to your sitter. 100% of gratuities go to your pet sitter.

Do your prices increase if I have multiple pets?
NO, Our prices only increase from that in Service & Rates if the amount of pets that need our care is unusual. For example, if you have 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 lizards, 2 fish tanks and a hamster, it might take more than an hour to provide proper care for all of your pets. In these cases, we will need to meet you and your pets and learn their basic routine to be able to provide an estimate.

What does a visit include?
Our method at Dog Days is a personalized approach. We will meet with you at your home to discuss a specific care plan tailored to keeping your pets as happy and safe as they are when you are home! Please see Service & Rates for more information.

How often do you visit my pets?
That is your decision. People with dogs typically schedule 2 or 3 visits per day. Many people, especially with dogs, choose to schedule an Overnight stay, and then have us come back mid day for a walk or visit. People with cats usually ask us to visit a minimum of 1 time per day when they're away.We will not skip days.

How long is each visit?
During each visit we take your pets outside for a potty break; refresh their food and water, Pick up waste/clean their litter box and of course, give them tender loving care! Most visits are around 30 minutes but we charge by service, not time.

What time can you visit my pets?
Visit times can be personalized. In general, morning visits take place between 7 a.m and 9 a.m., afternoon visits between 11 am and 2 pm, and evening visits between 4pm and 9 pm. Overnight stays are a minimum of 10-12 hours in length and generally constitute service between 7 pm and
7 am.

What to expect while you are away
Communication is important! Dog Days requests that you make your petsitter aware of your communication expectations. Some clients like to receive text messages or emails after we have visited their pets.  Some people like a daily check in call. Some people prefer to call us at their convenience to check in as needed, and some people prefer to only be contacted if there is a problem or question.  We respect each client’s individual needs and requests, so please be clear with us before you leave for a trip.

What to expect when you arrive home
Dog Days will leave detailed reports of your pet’s daily activities. Included in this information are feedings, water intake, medication reports, walk reports, litter box cleanings and more.

Dog Days absolutely requires that you let your petsitter know as soon as you have arrived home. Not only do we want to confirm that you made it home safe, but we want to be sure your pets and home are just as we left them.
